The Loop Learning Center, LLC provides low-risk and nonviolent offenders with an alternative to criminal convictions, jail time, and criminal records in the Greater St. Louis and surrounding areas.
Download the FREE eBook and learn the 7 ways to impress your judge and (potentially) avoid jail time.
Are you a first-time non-violent offender? Are you facing possible jail time? Do you sometimes make decisions that are not in your best interest or in the best interest of those around you? Let's keep it real, all of us have made some regrettable decisions, and we wish that the consequences of those decisions would somehow magically disappear-ABRACADABRA-POOF! Unfortunately, that only happens in the movies. But there's good news! If you've been asked (or mandated) to take a class by a judge, parole or probation officer, attorney, or employer, our classes are designed to help you satisfy court or employment requirements and equip you with skills necessary to enable you to successfully navigate through some of life's challenges.
We serve our community by reaching out and collaborating with the criminal justice system in St. Louis and surrounding areas. We provide affordable court-ordered classes to low-risk and nonviolent offenders. Our classes get to the root of why people do what they do. We equip our clients with life skills that help them make better positive choices.
We also administer Anger Management Evaluations.
If you have a pending misdemeanor case, speak to your defense attorney about attending one of our classes. (It’s important to speak to your attorney as soon as possible prior to entering a guilty plea.) He or she can let you know if you’re eligible for our classes, advise you of your options, and negotiate with the prosecutor on your behalf.
“I work at a fast food place. I was caught stealing at Walmart. My attorney said that the Judge might dismiss the charges if I take a Shoplifting class. I didn't want to come because I was embarrassed and thought that people might see me as a bad person, but I was wrong. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by friendly staff and treated with respect. I'm glad I came. I've learned how stealing not only impacts me, but my family and community as well. I never thought about it like that before.”
“I caught a case for not paying child support for over six months. I'm a truck driver and it's been really hard getting a job with a record. My probation officer said if I take the family support class, it will show the court that I'm serious about doing right by my kids. I asked my lawyer about it and he said that he may even be able to get my record expunged. If he can, it will be like a second chance for me to do right by my children.”
“I was arrested for road rage. The Judge said I have a problem with anger. She said if I take an anger management class and successfully completed it, there's a possibility that my case would be dismissed. For as long as I can remember, I've always had a problem with flying off the handle, but since taking these classes at The Loop Learning Center, I've been learning how to deal with my anger. I still get hot sometimes, but I'm getting better. I can see the change in me. Even my kids notice.”
